This used 2017 Toyota Tacoma 2.7L engine is a grade A replacement from a donor Toyota Tacoma built for 2017, with about 31,325 - 36,024 mi on the donor vehicle. The listed option is 2.7L (VIN X, 5th digit, 2TRFE engine, 4 cylinder). Use that 2.7L size and the option code with the VIN so the engine matches the sensors, wiring, and computer in the vehicle. This unit is priced at $5,226 and is offered in stock for shipping. State Auto Parts inspects used Toyota Tacoma engines and grades each one before it is listed. Free shipping is available to commercial addresses in the lower 48 states, and residential delivery can be arranged.

The transmission matched my VIN perfectly and shifts cleanly. Took an extra day to get the tracking info, otherwise this would have been a full five stars.
Engine performs fine once installed, but the freight carrier rescheduled twice and the harness clips needed cleanup. Worth it for the price if you can tolerate a little extra prep.
Fitment was okay after some extra trimming and the instructions were thin. The part works now, it just took longer than planned to get everything lined up.
