At State Auto Parts, we've spent two decades perfecting the sourcing, inspection and delivery of quality auto components. Because of that experience, we confidently back our parts with a 2-year limited parts warranty — so you can install with assurance and drive with peace of mind.
What This Warranty Covers
Our warranty is designed to cover you against defects in materials or workmanship for two full years from the date of delivery. Specifically, the warranty includes:
The main core component as described in your purchase (for example: engine block, transmission case, axle housing).
Internal mechanical parts that are part of that core component (such as pistons, crankshaft, camshaft, case internals) if installed properly and used under normal operating conditions.
Any component that fails due to a defect in manufacturing or original build quality — provided you complied with all install and maintenance guidelines.
What This Warranty Does Not Cover
From our 20 years of experience, we've seen what causes most returns — and more importantly, what falls outside of normal wear or user control. To be clear, the following are excluded:
Bolt-on accessories, wiring, sensors, hoses, belts, and other peripheral components not part of the core assembly.
Installation or labor costs of removal, reinstallation or diagnostics.
Damage resulting from misuse, neglect, improper installation, overheating, fluids not changed, or non-OEM compatible parts or fluids.
Cosmetic blemishes, paint finish, mismatched color or appearance issues.
Parts that have been disassembled, modified, or had their serial/identification numbers removed or defaced.
Mileage or hours used are not guaranteed, and any wear associated with normal usage is not covered under this warranty.
Conditions & Requirements
To qualify for coverage under this warranty, please ensure that:
The part is installed within ten (10) business days of delivery unless otherwise agreed upon in writing. Delayed installation may void coverage.
Installation is performed by a qualified technician following manufacturer or OEM standards.
Maintenance (fluids, filters, seals) is performed in the timeframes and with the specifications recommended for your vehicle/application. Documentation may be requested.
Any claim must be initiated within the 2-year warranty period. Upon claim, you must provide our team with inspection findings or diagnostic evidence.
Parts returned for claim must be returned in the same assembled condition as shipped (unless otherwise authorized) with no signs of dismantling, tampering or unauthorized modifications.
Claim Process
When you believe a covered defect has occurred:
Contact our support team with your order number, vehicle details (make/model/year), part serial or tag number (if applicable) and a description of the issue.
We may ask for a diagnostic report from an ASE-certified facility or equivalent, documenting the malfunction, cause and condition of surrounding systems.
Once approved, we will provide instructions for return shipment (customer may be responsible for freight unless otherwise specified) and determine whether repair, replacement or credit is appropriate.
Limitations & Final Notes
This warranty is the exclusive warranty provided by State Auto Parts regarding your purchase. No other warranty, expressed or implied, (including warranties of merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose) shall apply.
In no event will State Auto Parts be liable for incidental or consequential damages, including towing, rental car, loss of use, or economic loss.
The warranty applies only to the original purchaser and is non-transferable.
With our decades of experience and rigorous quality control standards, State Auto Parts stands behind every item we ship. Your satisfaction and safety are our priority — and this 2-year warranty is our promise to you.
