This used 2012 Nissan Frontier 4.0L engine is a grade A replacement from a donor Nissan Frontier built for 2012, with about 35,965 - 41,360 mi on the donor vehicle. The listed option is 4.0L (VIN A, 4th digit, VQ40DE). Use that 4.0L size and the option code with the VIN so the engine matches the sensors, wiring, and computer in the vehicle. This unit is priced at $4,599 and is offered in stock for shipping. State Auto Parts inspects used Nissan Frontier engines and grades each one before it is listed. Perfect fit for my vehicle! The engine runs smoothly and was exactly as described. Installation was straightforward, and the warranty gives me peace of mind. Highly recommend State Auto Parts!
Good quality part with excellent customer support. The only reason I'm giving 4 stars instead of 5 is the delivery took a day longer than expected, but the quality makes up for it.
The transmission matched my VIN perfectly and shifts cleanly. Took an extra day to get the tracking info, otherwise this would have been a full five stars.
