This used 2009 Toyota 4runner 4.0L engine is a grade A replacement from a donor Toyota 4runner built for 2009, with about 44,778 - 51,495 mi on the donor vehicle. The listed option is 4.0L (VIN U, 5th digit, 1GRFE engine, 6 cylinder). Use that 4.0L size and the option code with the VIN so the engine matches the sensors, wiring, and computer in the vehicle. This unit is priced at $4,737 and is offered in stock for shipping. State Auto Parts inspects used Toyota 4runner engines and grades each one before it is listed. Free shipping is available to commercial addresses in the lower 48 states, and residential delivery can be arranged.

The transmission matched my VIN perfectly and shifts cleanly. Took an extra day to get the tracking info, otherwise this would have been a full five stars.
Fitment was okay after some extra trimming and the instructions were thin. The part works now, it just took longer than planned to get everything lined up.
Top quality part at a great price. Shipping was fast and the part was exactly as described. Very happy with my purchase!
