This used 2008 Chevy Silverado 2500 6.0L engine is a grade A replacement from a donor Chevy Silverado 2500 built for 2008, with about 49,336 - 56,736 mi on the donor vehicle. The listed option is 6.0L (VIN K, 8th digit, opt LY6). Use that 6.0L size and the option code with the VIN so the engine matches the sensors, wiring, and computer in the vehicle. This unit is priced at $4,723 and is offered in stock for shipping. State Auto Parts inspects used Chevy Silverado 2500 engines and grades each one before it is listed. Good quality part with excellent customer support. The only reason I'm giving 4 stars instead of 5 is the delivery took a day longer than expected, but the quality makes up for it.
Appreciate the honest grading on the differential I bought. It runs great, I just wish the install kit was bundled automatically.
Engine performs fine once installed, but the freight carrier rescheduled twice and the harness clips needed cleanup. Worth it for the price if you can tolerate a little extra prep.
