This used 2005 Ford Taurus 3.0L transmission is a grade A replacement from a donor Ford Taurus built for 2005, with about 36,073 - 41,484 mi on the donor vehicle. The listed option is AT, (6-183, 3.0L), DOHC (VIN S, 8th digit), (4F50N, AX4N), column shift. Outstanding service! The transmission was delivered quickly and works perfectly. The quality exceeded my expectations for a used part.
Placed the order on a Monday and had the crate before the weekend. Compression numbers were spot on and the motor is whisper quiet.
Fitment was okay after some extra trimming and the instructions were thin. The part works now, it just took longer than planned to get everything lined up.
